Wishing you all a very healthy, prosperous and peaceful 2026. I wonder what the year has in store for us? I do hope you had a lovely Christmas time and were able to spend some quality time with loved ones.
As 2025 drew to a close, I reflected on the year that had passed. Two significant moments stood out to me – one very joyful, and the other very sad. Ozzie achieving the grades he needed to get into the university of his choice, and then loving the course – what more could I ask for? The other was my Dad’s passing. It’s true, you never really get over losing a parent, and now I have sadly lost both of mine. I could sense Dad’s presence around me a lot during the festive season; he adored Christmas. He would have loved playing the games, and there were times when I found myself saying exactly what he would have said, then smiling to myself because this was my Dad speaking, but through me.
Last night, my Mum visited me. She hasn’t been around as much lately, possibly because she’s needed elsewhere, but also because this is the first year her children haven’t had their Dad with them, so I feel she has stepped back, giving him space. But last night, Mum visited, and it was a wonderful feeling. I know she also visited my sisters and brothers, but they may not be aware of this, as they’re not as open as I am.

The passing of a loved one is one of the most painful experiences we can face in life, and many feel that’s it – they’ve gone forever – and this can be incredibly painful to accept. Many of my family believe this is the case. But when you know there is so much more than this one life we are currently leading, although it’s still painful to lose a loved one, somehow it’s not quite as terrible. I’m writing this fresh from the memory of mum’s visit. It was almost as if she were here, right here in solid form. She was mum, as I remember. I could hear her, hug her, smell the perfume she always wore – see her in full colour! It was magical. I can still sense her close as I write this.
I’d like to share one of my favourite images – it’s of my step-mum, Jill, who has dementia and misses my dad terribly. Katherine, who used to look after Jill, gifted her with one of the most thoughtful presents I have ever seen. If ever there’s proof that a picture tells a thousand words, it’s these – I hope this cushion brings Jill some comfort.
2025 – the end of a nine-year cycle. I can't speak for everyone, but I am aware of many friends, acquaintances, clients, family members, and myself where I have definitely felt this change. It’s now a time for new beginnings. Let go of anything that doesn’t serve a positive purpose. Release and move on – don’t carry it into the next cycle.
And talking of new beginning – Basil and Sprout. Oh my goodness, they are gorgeous. I love the morning when Basil comes running to greet me, as if he hasn’t seen me for days – this is priceless and I hope will never end. Sprout is the more cautious one, but she’s very intuitive. If you’re feeling a bit low or sad, she’s right there, on your lap – this is just how Jeffie used to be. Sprout is still very dinky for her age, whereas her brother definitely wears heavy boots – it can sound like a herd of elephants going up and down the stairs sometimes! They have brought such fresh joy into our lives and I wouldn’t be without them.
As I mention every year, I’m not one for New Years Resolutions, I’m more of an advocate of making positive changes anytime of the year, no matter what the date, time or day of the week. And… not to beat yourself up if you slip (fail – a word I don’t like). You only “fail” if you stop trying.

Reflecting on 2025 and preparing for 2026
Any time of the year, but particularly January, invites us to:
· Pause and be present – creating space to listen to our inner guidance
· Light a candle – for those that are no longer with us at this time of year
· Give with intention – sharing our love, time, or attention freely with others – this means so much more than a present
· Reflect and release – acknowledging what no longer serves us as we step into a new chapter, a new year

Take a moment and have a deep, honest look at your year. You can do this by asking yourself:
Achievements & Wins
· What am I most proud of this year?
· What goals did I accomplish, big or small?
Challenges & Lessons
· What didn’t go as planned?
· What lessons did I learn from mistakes or setbacks?
Habits & Routines
· Which habits helped me thrive?
· Which habits held me back?
Relationships & Connections
· Who supported me this year?
· Are there relationships I need to nurture or let go?
It is a time to nourish the soul, cultivate gratitude, and set intentions for a meaningful year ahead.

Treatment of the month – £5 discount (please quote when booking)

'
Top to Toe' Reflexology – 1 hour
Want to feel totally relaxed whilst giving your body optimum reflexology? Why not try the wonderful combination treatment of the super relaxing Facial Reflexology, followed by 30 minutes of targeted Reflexology on the feet. Really popular for those who need a complete unwind and want to feel totally relaxed.
What is Facial Reflexology?
Facial reflexology is based on the same principle of the more traditional and well-known practice of foot or hand reflexology. By stimulating the facial nerves through a series of routines, and directly increasing blood flow and muscle tone in the face, this encourages the release of toxins from the body via the lymphatic system.
The only areas worked are the face, areas of the neck and skull, therefore no items of clothing need to be removed (but please avoid a high neck top).
Please note, this is not a 'facial' that you'd expect to get from a beauty therapist, this is reflexology on the face.
There are many benefits to facial reflexology. Not only is facial reflexology deeply relaxing and eases the tension so often found in the head, but it is also: -
Very effective at treating stress which is blamed for 80% of today’s illnesses
Release of endorphins which counteract stress and help us feel good
Mood is elevated, anxiety and depression lifts
Energy that has been blocked by tension is released
Improved concentration due to blood flow to the brain
Improved sleep
Increased energy levels
Improved skin and hair
Improved circulation

Fairy Wisdom Oracle - Pedestal
Written by Nancy Brown

This angelic being is bound round and around, yet her bindings are not secured. She can choose to unbind at any moment. Situations are not always aas they seem. You are being guided to look deeper into your life. Are you seeing all sides of the situation? Are you feeling restricted when in reality, it’s your choice to decide if you want to be free. We often bind ourselves to limited beliefes or outdated thinking patterns. What habits can you change in order to release yourself from limited thinking? You have much more control of your life and circumstances than you may realise.

I wonder what this January and 2026 have in store for each of us. I know I will be offering more teachings and a brand new Angelic offering – watch this space for more details to follow shortly. Whatever it brings, may it be fun, yet peaceful, and I wish you a very bright and joyous New Year. Perhaps consider ways to spend quality time with the people in your life. Be present, and as I always say, be kind to all, but mainly to yourself. I look forward to seeing you soon, with love and light.
