How was your November? I hope it was enjoyable, peaceful, exciting, or whatever lovely outcome you were hoping for.
Amongst the festivities, parties, and madness (in whatever way this resonates for you) of December, we also enter a season of stillness, reflection, and quiet anticipation. The year is ending, and the winter days encourage us to slow down, look inward, and reconnect with what truly matters.
Christmas, personally, it’s a time of year I love. I love nothing more than being with those I love, and it’s my birthday! A time when I feel fortunate enough to spend with family and friends. But Christmas can also be a painful reminder of those who are no longer with us. Missing them, wishing we could hear their voice, feel their warmth as we hug them, sense their love in them being here. This will be the first year I have neither of my parents, and I must be honest, it’s going to feel very strange. Both my parents (although separated) loved their family. It was a time of giving. A time to be with one another. A time to play games, listen to classic Christmas music and simply be in the presence of one another. My parents are no longer here, but I hope with all my heart I have passed forward the true meaning of Christmas – it’s not material goods, it’s love. Being with those you love. Spending time with those you love – and I love my sons so very much.

We have already put up our Christmas decorations, one – because I love them, and two – to see how the kittens are around them (so far, so good). There is no doubt in my mind that whilst putting up the decorations, my Dad was right by my side. When I hear Christmas songs, I hear him singing them to me. So although my Dad isn’t here in body, he is most definitely here in spirit, and he will be right by my side as Theo and Ozzie test me with the latest board game!
Losing a loved one is difficult regardless of when or how many years have passed, but Christmas tends to intensify that sense of loss. Memories of past Christmases shared, thoughts of those who will never be with us again. We cannot change the past or the future – all we have is now. Make the most of what we hold. Cherish everything we possess. Create magical memories and let frustrations or anger pass – they don't serve any purpose apart from making you feel unhappy, which can then influence others.
Angelic Reiki
In November, I taught Angelic Reiki 1&2 for the first time, and I loved it. Yes, I was naturally apprehensive, not only because it was my first time, but also because I genuinely wanted to give my students the best I could. I was very fortunate to have six incredible people, and to see each one so open to learning this wonderful therapy. Looking back, I wouldn’t have changed a thing.
I absolutely loved the weekend; however, here are a few words from some attendees. I was excited when I went to bed on Friday evening about what the weekend would bring, and felt sad but grateful by Sunday evening — not only because it marked the end of a wonderful weekend, but also because I was grateful that these incredible people now have the knowledge of Angelic Reiki and will be able to pass it forward.
Here are some words from some of the students:
“I have just finished the Angelic reiki course with the wonderful Kate. It was truly an amazing experience. She made me and the others on the course feel so welcomed and relaxed. I loved every single minute of it. Kate is extremely gifted. She is full of knowledge and experience which she shares with ease and an open heart. I cannot recommend her enough for all her treatments and her wonderful courses.
Thank you once again Kate”
“Kate’s generosity of spirit and undeniable connection to the angelic realms created such a beautiful sanctuary which allowed each of us to receive exactly what we needed from the attunements and more.
In all honesty I do not know if I actually have the words to articulate quite how magical and powerful the weekend spent with you was ️ Thank you for sharing your beautiful energy with us all in your home and holding such a safe space for us to learn and evolve along our spiritual journeys.”
“Never underestimate the impact you have with your gentle (yet powerful) gifts... you took us to places beyond any of our expectations and it was something I know I will never forget Thank you will never be enough, but I am forever grateful that the universe allowed us to find you.”
‘Such a wonderous and transformative weekend. Not only were you so welcoming and warming, but you shared your beautiful soul and energy with us all, and for that I am truly grateful Since returning home safely I feel that slowly and surely in time I will be able to help others with the powerful healing that is Angelic Reiki it is exciting to see what lies ahead and where it leads me, but I know I want to share this gift with the world.”
If you wish to learn Angelic Reiki, I will be running the course in March 2026. Please get in touch if you're interested or would like further information.

Gratitude
December is a natural time for reflection. As the year comes to a close, pause for a moment and take a moment to acknowledge:
· Moments of personal growth and learning
· Connections with others that nourished our souls
· Challenges that became opportunities for resilience and growth
· Acts of kindness, large and small, that made a difference
· Even small blessings that brightened your day
Each of these experiences, no matter how ordinary they seemed at the time, has contributed to the journey of our lives.
Gratitude transforms reflection into peace, helping us release what no longer serves us and welcome the new year with hope and intention.
This December, may your heart be full of thanks, and may the coming year bring light, clarity, and purpose.

Decorate Mindfully
When it’s time to decorate your home, follow these steps to make the process more engaging and satisfying.
Approach this as though it’s the first time you have ever decorated your home.
· Start with the tree. Focus your mind on the emotions and memories the tree evokes.
· For each bauble, wreath, decoration, look at each one as if seeing it for the first time – how does it make you feel?
· Be fully present in the moment as you put each decoration up; really think about its best position and how it contributes to the overall appearance of the home.
· Notice and embrace any feelings of anticipation and excitement for Christmas.
This mindfulness exercise combines organisation with creative thinking and fosters clarity and satisfaction in a task that can sometimes feel daunting or repetitive.

Quote for the moment
"No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path."
By Buddha
Crystal/Stone of the month – Ruby
Ruby is a wonderful red precious stone. It brings good health, balanced energy, wealth and abundance passion and protection. It promotes the will to live, mental health and healing. It’s also a fabulous stone to have, especially at this time of year as it helps with decision making, new beginnings and change.

Angel Card

Inner Child Healing
The Angel Guide Oracle Deck, Kyle Gray
The inner child is the part of our psyche that represents our childhood. Everyone, no matter who they are, has had traumatic childhood experiences that may be impacting their life today.
I recently attended a course that connected me with my inner child, and it was incredibly freeing to be able to hold and protect my inner child as an adult. This time of year is perfect for reconnecting with your inner child. Enjoy all the wonder of this season. See Christmas through the eyes of a four-year-old—the wonder, the magic, the anticipation. Even if it’s as simple as savouring a chocolate and letting it melt slowly in your mouth. We all have an inner child inside us, and sometimes, there's nothing wrong with letting them surface and have fun. Those deep belly laughs of pure joy.
It's cathartic. It’s healing.

I wonder what this December has in store for us all. Whatever it brings, I hope it is fun and peaceful. Maybe consider ways to spend quality time with the people in your life or with yourself. Stay present and, as I always say, be kind to everyone, but most importantly, be kind to yourself. Wishing you a very happy and healthy Christmas, and I look forward to seeing you soon, with love and gratitude.
