It’s June, and wow, haven’t we had a burst of beautiful warm weather? Perfect for all the children on half-term!

It’s been a fabulous month. How was yours?

This month has been especially inspiring for me, as I’ve seen long-held dreams come to fruition. The first group of amazing ladies completed their Lotus Chakra course, and I felt both privileged and honoured to guide these wonderful souls on this part of their journey.

Having completed the course myself some years ago and experienced its value firsthand, I’ve always known I wanted to share this knowledge with others. It helped me untangle old thoughts, gain a deeper understanding of myself, and grow in ways I never expected. I can’t emphasise how enlightening this self-development course is.

Don’t just take my word for it. Here is some feedback from participants in the course:

“I loved learning everything. It’s changed me. Kate, you are amazing, like I said, our very own font of knowledge. I would soooooo recommend this course to anyone.”

“100% recommend this course. There were many ‘aha’ moments for me. From the in-depth information about each chakra, to the fabulous meditations, self-discovery homework and the bond made with the wonderful women that took the course. If you’re thinking about the lotus chakra course, Kate is your perfect teacher – a beautiful, gentle, nurturing guide on this journey. I loved it.”

I’m running the course again, so if you’d like to know more, please get in touch.

Another dream also came to fruition this month with the launch of my Walking with the Angels course. Encouraged by the angels, I wrote and gained accreditation for this course. It is designed for those at the beginning of their spiritual journey, as well as those who would like to deepen their understanding of angels, guardian angels, and the seven main Archangels.

The course explores how to connect with angels and begin developing your own angel language through signs, intuition, belief, and openness. The day was everything I had hoped for—a wonderful group of like-minded souls, each bringing openness, love, and a beautiful honesty.

It is moments like these that make my soul want to sing and inspire me to continue sharing this work. I feel incredibly blessed and deeply emotional—words fail to describe how it feels.

Again, please don’t just take my word for it. Here is some feedback from participants in the course:

There aren't enough words to express how enriching our 'Walking with Angels' experience was yesterday.  To feel how truly gifted you are helps us to gain so much more than knowledge alone. Thank you so much for making it so special and life-changing but also for really caring about us”

“It was a beautiful, enlightening course. So powerful. Wow, I was blown away. Thank you, Kate, for being so informative. Your knowledge is inspiring. I got so much out of today.”

I am running this course on Saturday, 18th July – if you are interested, please let me know.

As we step into June, we welcome a season of light, growth, and renewed possibility. The longer days invite us to slow down, notice the beauty around us, and reconnect with what truly nourishes our spirit. Whether through moments of reflection, acts of kindness, or simply being present in nature, this month offers an opportunity to deepen our sense of peace and purpose. May June bring fresh inspiration, gentle encouragement, and a reminder that even small steps can lead to meaningful transformation.

Here are a couple of photos of my fairy garden – day and evening

Causes of dis-ease and dis-harmony

Related to the Lotus Chakra course, I felt inclined to share the following. When you understand why, you can begin to make changes that can help your life in such a positive way.

Have you ever wondered why certain people are always suffering from back pain, headaches, digestive disorders, or sore throats, while others go through life apparently symptom-free? What is it that causes disharmony or disease in some people and not in others? As our minds and bodies are not separate, a connection can be made between all our physical weaknesses and our mental state. Physical symptoms may therefore arise from emotional factors, often anger and/or stress.

You, your family or your friends may identify with some of the following examples:

Head

The head is the control centre for the body. Too much analysing can result in headaches or migraines, or a general imbalance at the physical, emotional, mental or spiritual level. It can also lead to confusion and unexpressed emotion.

Eyes

Eyes relate to our inner seeing and feeling. The need to be seen by others, or the failure to see their needs. Not seeing what is plainly in front of our eyes or what lies ahead. The eyes are also connected to the sinuses and unshed tears.

Ears

Hearing others, being heard by others, or blocking out what we don’t or didn’t want to hear. The ears are also linked to high blood pressure, balance and clarity.

Throat

Dis-harmony in the throat, becoming ‘choked-up’, may mean the inability to express how we really feel to others. Difficulty in expressing the truth. Throat blockages or sore throats may be caused by not saying what needs to be said, feeling gagged.

Neck

The neck is the physical link between our intellectual and physical processes. A ‘stiff-necked’ view, or the inability to put your neck on the line, reflects rigidity in thinking. It is also related to the shoulders, which carry burdens and responsibilities.

Shoulders

Burdens of responsibility and the inability to shoulder them. Tension and difficulty in dealing with or carrying the things we need in life. Feeling that the ‘whole world’ is on our shoulders.

Upper back

Too much giving and receiving. Creating a ‘rod for our back’. Repressed feelings of another’s ingratitude or guilt may cause upper back problems, or simply leave you with your back up.

Lower back

Lower back problems may indicate that someone is uncomfortable with life, or with the stress of life itself. Simply doing too much can cause problems in this area.

Coccyx

The coccyx is linked to the survival instinct. It can sometimes indicate fear of success in life.

Intestines

Blockages and constipation indicate an inability to let go of past or old feelings. Holding in anger. Diarrhoea or colitis indicates letting go of the past without dealing with the issues. The intestines can be a storage area for anger or unresolved issues.

Stomach

Being unable to digest aspects of the past, such as old ideas or social conditioning. Ulcers show up as eating away at the gut, whilst ‘butterflies in the stomach’ represent anxiety about the future. Fear of change.

Liver

Anger stored over long periods of time and/or long-term insecurity may affect the liver's effectiveness. If the liver is not detoxifying efficiently, this may show up as eczema or psoriasis.

Gall bladder

Anger that has turned to bitterness may result in gallbladder problems.

Pancreas

Losing the sweetness of life. A lack of spark.

Spleen

Unfinished business, especially within relationships.

Adrenals/Kidneys

Shock, trauma, stress and fear may all produce a weakness in this area. An inability to deal with fear or uncertainty in life. An over-stretching of the nervous system.

Ovaries or testicles, uterus

Deep sexual issues such as abuse. Guilt related to miscarriage or abortion. Anger about sexuality.

Bladder

Issues that need to be expressed are stored.

Prostrate

Sexual guilt, anger towards women, helplessness with birth or sexual issues, and powerlessness.

Hips

The hips are the body’s physical support system. Stored problems, anger, or fear result in excess fat, creating a barrier to the world. Being too vulnerable or unprotected in life results in thinness.

Knees

The body’s shock absorbers. The need for support with emotional or practical issues and the inflexibility in dealing with the hard ground of life.

Ankles

A difficulty in reacting to rapidly changing circumstances. A lack of understanding or an attempt to analyse things not relevant to our progression.

Feet

A lack of grounding in life. Unable to take a stand and to stand up for ourselves. Difficulty in setting standards for oneself.

Mindfulness Meditation

Every morning, I meditate and take a moment for quiet contemplation, allowing my thoughts - which can race around my head at times - to settle. Even if it’s just for 10 minutes, it really helps, and it has proven essential of late.

This is my super simple morning – non-negotiable – mindful meditation practice. Try it every day for a week and see if it sets the tone for your day ahead.

·       Set your alarm 20 mins earlier than you normally do – ideally before the house wakes

·       Don’t reach for your mobile and get caught in the web of social media – this is time for you - your time.

·       Take yourself to another room (or if the weather is nice, outside).

·       Sit quietly. No pressure. No judgements. No expectations.

·       If thoughts enter your mind (and they will), acknowledge them but refrain from allowing your mind to become preoccupied. Let them go for now. Concentrate on your breathing. Inhale positive energy, and exhale any negative thoughts that do not contribute to a positive purpose.

·       Focus on your breath. Gently breathing in, gently breathing out.

·       Set a simple intention for the rest of your day – for example, “I will carry this light with me”.

·       After 5 or 10 minutes. Gently stretch, open your eyes and smile. Today is going to be a good day. Whatever the day holds for you, you’ll be ok. Take each moment at a time.

I began writing this newsletter after doing exactly this, in the garden, with a nice cup of tea – how British I am (laughing to myself now).

Quote for the moment

“To have a friend, you must be a friend.”

Crystal

Fossilised Wood (Petrified Wood)

From a healing and spiritual perspective, fossilised wood (petrified wood) is often regarded as a stone of grounding, stability, wisdom, and gentle transformation.

Petrified wood is deeply connected with the Earth element. It is often used to help people feel:

  • More centred and balanced

  • Calm during periods of stress or uncertainty

  • Rooted in the present moment

  • Supported during life changes

Its energy is slow, steady, and nurturing rather than intense or stimulating.

Angel Card

My goodness, this card keeps presenting itself at the moment, three times this past week alone!

As I connect with the angels, they are saying to anyone who reads this - be devoted and committed. Listen to your heart and take a moment of stillness. Make time away from all distractions. Sit quietly and allow your heart and soul to speak. And ask yourself - what is it I truly desire? It doesn't need to be anything big or life-changing; it may be something as simple as making time for myself without feeling guilty, carving time out of my busy life, as I'm important too. It may be something life-changing, but whatever it is - be devoted and committed to this change. Not just a one-day event. It's a card that says teach yourself commitment. You can do anything once you put your mind to it, but the key is devotion and commitment.

I wonder what this June has in store for each of us. Whatever it brings, may it be fun and peaceful. Maybe think of ways you can have quality time with the people in your life or quality time with yourself. Be present and, as I always say, be kind to all, but mostly yourself. I look forward to seeing you soon, with love and light.
