Welcome to Angelic Complementary Therapies November 2022 Newsletter

Welcome to my November newsletter and I hope you all had a lovely month of October - with slightly warmer than expected temperatures. We turned the clocks back Saturday night and it seemed the dark evening really drew in quickly! I love the seasons we get in this country and, at present, I love nothing more than to draw the curtains and cosy down for the evening with something warming and hearty to eat.

The other day I went for a walk in the woods that are local to me. It was a very mindful walk (I’d recommend this if you’ve never tried it before – no phones, no distraction just being fully present and in the moment). It was wonderful to see all the autumnal colours of the leaves on the trees, the smell of the damp soil, the sound of squirrels squeaking to one another and scampering up the trees, to touch the damp bark of my favourite oak tree and notice the amazing different types of fungi! I never knew I’d see such variety in such a small area!

With the winter months approaching, it can be very easy to want to hibernate (like my tortoise) but we really need our daily dose of Vitamin D (the sunshine vitamin). Of course, there are supplements but we also have natural daylight (it doesn’t have to be bright sun to get vitamin D). We all need daylight to help our mind and body to wake up and trigger normal bodily function – our circadian rhythm, which is our 24-hour internal clock.

Also, a lack of daylight/sunshine can make us feel sluggish and tired. I’d really recommend taking any opportunity you can get to go outside to give yourself a healthy boost. Even if it’s raining. Wrap up warm and take that 20 minute out to reset and unwind. Being proactive and responsible for your health and well-being will help you feel better through the winter season.

Therapies update

As some of you may be aware, 2022 has been a difficult year for me. Due to the poor health of a family member and personal reasons, I will sadly be unable to offer the following Angelic therapies for the foreseeable future:

Angelic Reiki

Reflexology with Angel Guidance

Angel Light Therapy

I hope to resume these therapies in future and will keep you updated via my website. I’m happy to say that all other treatments will continue as usual. To help manage my time, I’ve updated my working week and will be available from Monday to Thursday, and will honour all current Saturday bookings.

Quote for the moment

Crystal of the month – Angel Aura Agate

Angel Aura Agate is a soothing and calming crystal that brings great strength. It’s wonderful for recovering from any emotional trauma and releases tension creating a sense of stability. This crystal is associated with peace, tranquillity, intuition, unconditional love and patience.

Gratitude

You can’t choose your family but you can choose your friends. Make a list of the friends you have in your life. What do you appreciate about them? How do they enrich your life?

Angel card

I hope with all my heart that the month of November brings peace, cosy evenings in and contentment to our lives. Be present and as I always say, be kind to all, but mostly yourself and I look forward to seeing you soon, with love and light.
