Welcome to Angelic Complementary Therapies May 2024 Newsletter
It’s May! As I write this, the sun is streaming into my room, and it’s beautiful. I hope all is well with you and you’re taking some time to regroup and rejuvenate.
How was your April? I saw many lovely clients, and it was a pleasure to treat every single one. I am so lucky; I really do have the best clients (I am not keen on the term ‘clients’; it sounds too clinical). So, thank you for choosing me to help you through this period of your life. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your life journey and hopefully helping in the process. Without you, Angelic CT wouldn’t exist. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
What a busy April I had. I certainly embraced each moment and experienced more of my “One Day 50 Things…” (which I’d recommend anyone doing). The big stand out for my month was having a family holiday in Dubai. I have never experienced anywhere like this before. I liked many things about the place and some things I wasn’t so keen on. Honestly, I could be anywhere with my family, and it would be great. I made sure I was fully present and spent lots of quality time with Theo and Ozzie – this may be our last family holiday (they're now 19 and 17 years old).
I know for sure they made many fabulous memories, as did I, and we had lots of laughter—quite a lot at my expense!
My family's smallest (yet eldest) member has finally come out of hibernation – Fred the tortoise. He did really well in hibernation; staggeringly, one of his cataracts has healed! He went into hibernation, and both eyes had cataracts (he’s had them for about 5 years, and sadly, there’s nothing they can do); he came out of hibernation 5 months later, and one eye is healed! The vet has never come across this before. I wonder if it’s all the reiki he has, alongside the beautiful amount of rest in order to heal. I wonder… I know without doubt that Reiki certainly saved Jefferson’s life 3 years ago, and that was also a case of the vet saying, “I don’t know what you’ve done, but whatever it is, keep doing it.” And I do. I also experienced a minor procedure myself recently, and it healed really quickly and well – it’s the reiki and reflexology.
Discover the Healing Power of Reflexology this May
As May blooms with promise and renewal, it’s the perfect time to explore the profound healing potential of reflexology. Originating from ancient practices, reflexology is not merely a foot massage—it’s a holistic therapy that stimulates specific points on the feet, hands, and ears to promote balance and wellness throughout the body.
Imagine each step you take as a journey toward rejuvenation and vitality. Reflexology invites you to embark on this journey, guiding you to reconnect with your body’s innate ability to heal itself. With every gentle touch and precise manipulation of reflex points, tension melts away, energy flows freely, and a sense of harmony envelops your entire being.
This May, let reflexology inspire you to embrace self-care as a sacred ritual. Take a moment to pause, breathe, and honour your body’s wisdom. Whether you’re seeking relief from stress or pain or simply craving a deeper connection with yourself, reflexology offers a pathway to holistic wellness.
As you bask in the warmth of spring and the promise of new beginnings, allow reflexology to awaken your spirit and ignite your inner glow. May this ancient art remind you of your inherent capacity for healing and empower you to embrace each day with vitality and joy.
Take a step toward wellness this May—explore the transformative benefits of reflexology and embark on a journey of self-discovery and renewal.
Quote for the moment
“Nothing is impossible. The word itself says, ‘I’m possible!’”

Mindfulness
Mindful seeing
We get so caught up in our own tasks and concerns that it can be to easy to forget there’s a whole world going on out there. Maybe try this mindful practice to be more present.
1. In the quiet moments of your day, allow yourself the gift of truly seeing. Let go of the rush and noise and embrace the beauty in every detail around you. Notice the delicate hues of the sky, the plants, and all of nature as it begins to blossom into life during this month.
2. With each breath, anchor yourself in the present moment, immersing yourself fully in the tapestry of life unfolding before you. As you observe, cultivate a sense of gratitude for the wonders that surround you, both big and small.
3. Remember, in the act of seeing with mindful awareness, you not only witness the world but also awaken to the soul of your own existence.
Embrace this practice as a daily reminder to not only see the beauty that surrounds you but also allow time for peace and calm.
Crystal/Stone of the month – Mookaite
Mookaite is a jasper containing earthy beauty with a fusion of reds and yellows. It is known as the Aboriginal Mother Earth stone and has a great healing capacity to connect with the currents of the Earth. It is a wonderful stone if you are willing to accept change and discover new experiences. It is connected to the Solar Plexus Chakra and Root Chakra. It’s a stone I often carry with me or wear. This photo really doesn’t do it justice; it's a stunning piece in real life. It's really good for creativity, too.
Oracle Card
My Light attracts Light
Raise Your Vibration Oracle Deck, Kyle Gray
Light is attractive in nature – when we shine brightly, we attract other great lights, and these lights can come in the form of people, opportunities, even angels. Right now, divine beings are surrounding you, holding you in a sacred and safe space so that you can be the light that you are.
Being a light is about expressing your individual self in a way that is unashamed and unapologetic. If you feel that you’ve had to dim your light or hide your talents in order to fit into certain spaces, including family, know that this is your lifetime in which your soul has chosen to surmount limitations. You are doing that now, and this starts with seeing your own true self.
I wonder what this May has in store for each of us. Whatever it brings, may it be fun and peaceful. Maybe think of ways you can have quality time with the people in your life or quality time with yourself. Be present and, as I always say, be kind to all, but mostly yourself. I look forward to seeing you soon, with love and light.
