A.C.T Newsletter July 2021
Welcome to Angelic Complementary Therapies July Newsletter
I love the month of July! To me it marks the beginning of summer. Long sunny days, warm evenings (ever the optimist), children breaking up from school and hopefully summer vacations (fingers crossed 19th July).
After 5 long months of house build, I was finally able to reopen in June and what a busy month June has been - lots of lovely clients, continuing my research including reflexology studies (all to be revealed very soon) and I got my second vaccine! I was also able to give a live presentation via zoom to patients with life limiting illnesses. I was able to show them some simple hand reflexology techniques to help with anxiety, stress and aid peaceful sleep.
Being mobile! I have had a number of enquires asking if I would offer mobile services for those clients that find it difficult to travel to my therapy room. After much thought I’m really pleased to announce that I will be giving this a trial period. I will only be able to offer Reflexology, RLD and Hot Stone Reflexology as a mobile therapy due to energy balancing needed for Reiki and Angelic Reiki. I will bring all the equipment needed to provide you with a totally relaxed and enjoyable experience from the comfort of your own home. Please note, there will also be an additional £10 charge for all mobile treatments to cover costs.
Quote for the moment
“There are no great people
in this world, only great
challenges which ordinary
people rise to meet”
William Frederick Halsey, Jr
Decluttering, mindfully. What’s the saying… a cluttered house is a cluttered mind. I’m the first to admit, I can drive my family crazy making our home as clutter free as possible.
My tip is to tidy/declutter something each day, even if it’s just one drawer, and with time you’ll be more clutter free. Concentrate on one room at a time and try not to get distracted into starting another area before you finish the one you’re currently working on. As you tidy, focus solely on the job at hand. Really consider if you need that item anymore, or if somebody else may benefit from it.
You’ll find this exercise blends creative thinking and orderliness which increases satisfaction and clarity into our daily lives.
Food for thought
For the majority of us, someone grows our food, picks it and sells it to us. We have all kinds of gadgetry that make food preparation easy. Consider your easy access to foods and all that a modern kitchen offers. When you think about food, what are you grateful for?
Be aware of your language and thoughts. The most powerful statement you can ever make, think or feel is ‘thank you’. Be grateful for all the blessings in your life. As we acknowledge the divine order of life, the Universe responds with ever greater blessings.
I wonder what July has in store for each of us? Whatever it is, may it be fun, peaceful and kind and I look forward to seeing you soon, with love and light.
